This project is a W.I.P
Blurb:
It’s 1938 in Hollywood where nights are long and distractions plenty. 32-year-old Howard Stewart is a bubbly, coffee-addicted homicide detective working for an often laughed-at agency due to its ridiculous name: “P.I.G” (Penneysworth’s Investigation Group).
After Howard accidentally arrests the wrong suspect during his last case, rumors begin to spread about the legitimacy of his murder-solving expertise. So when he’s the only available employee to take on a new tragic case, he accepts it with hopes he can make up for the mishap.
21-year-old Helen Butler is a college student who moved out of her wealthy parent’s house to have a taste of freedom and independence. Though it didn’t last long, for she was found dead in her new home on New Year’s Day under strange circumstances.
Howard and his coworker Wayne Keeton are sent to solve this peculiar situation with the help of Howard’s wife Melony—a fairly new employee of the agency. Meanwhile, Wayne fights some relationship issues with his own wife and their divorce.
This is a story of lost hope, humorous outcomes, and emotional disturbances as the cast go to hell and back to solve this case and fix their personal problems.
